In memory of ...

Sunday, December 16, 2007

Braving the freezing rain and snow, approximately 20 people stood shivering and singing Christmas Carols in remembrance of Clay County's late "Santa Claus" Bill Beeler Saturday evening outside the Santa Claus House at Forest Park. Beeler's daughter Lisa Wallen, was joined by family during the observance.

There is no memorial that would come close to honoring "Santa" (Bill Beeler). What an incredibly selfless human being. My children (20 & 13 now) enjoyed sitting atop Santa's lap during the holidays. Mr. Beeler .. Sir .. you were a man among men. My deepest heartfelt sympathys to your extended family during this holiday season. Thank you so very much, Santa.
