Library on the Lawn coming to a close

Monday, December 17, 2007

The Brazil Public Library will end Library on the Lawn in the sense that book carts will be out on the sidewalk.

Those patrons interested in checking out books will need to call the library at 448-1981 to request materials to be pulled and brought to the front of the library for pick up.

Make calls prior to coming to the library so the materials may be pulled and brought down.

The staff will do curb side service for those who cannot get to the front doors.

Library cards are still needed to be brought when items are being picked up.

Note: The nature of the Internet makes it impractical for our staff to review every comment. Please also note that those who post comments on thebraziltimes.com may do so using a screen name, which may or may not reflect a website user's actual name. Readers should be careful not to assign comments to real people who may have names similar to screen names. Refrain from obscenity in your comments, and to keep discussions civil, don't say anything in a way your grandmother would be ashamed to read.

Will there be a point when the library will open? Does anybody have any real answers? Has a time line been set?
