Two simultaneous accidents within the city limits had members of the Brazil City Police Department scrambling to offer assistance to the victims.

Shortly after 4 p.m., Tuesday, 911 dispatchers received two accident reports, one at the intersection of United States 40 and State Road 59 and the other at the intersection of U.S. 40 west and Jackson Street.

Patrolman Andy Whittington responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident involving a school bus and a passenger vehicle at U.S. 40 and S.R. 59.
