Well, this is the final column for 2007. It doesn't seem possible that another year has flown by. I hope that 2008 brings you and your families many blessings and much happiness. Happy New Year!

10:30 a.m., in the Educational Building. If you need transportation to morning worship services, please phone the church office at 446-3211. The van is wheel chair equipped. There will be no Sunday evening service this week.

Plan to attend the New Year's Eve Family Fun night. There will be activities and games for all ages from 8 p.m.-midnight. Bring your favorite board games and finger foods to share.

Wednesday evening Bible Study and Prayer Group meets at 7 p.m. The Praise Band, for middle and high school youth, will start up again on Sunday, Jan. 6. They will meet each Sunday evening at 6 p.m.

Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m. Church service begins at 10:30. David Brown is our

Pastor and his wife Elaine brings the Children's Message. Glenna Simons is the pianist.

Remember that the Community Food Pantry is open in the church's basement the last two Wednesday afternoons of each month from 3-5 p.m. The next Food Pantry day will be Wednesday, Jan. 23. Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome. We truly appreciate the support of many churches, civic organizations, and individuals in helping to make this needed outreach a success. A container is located in the Staunton Town Office for anyone who would like to contribute non-perishable food items.

Please remember to keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families. Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones. Go out of your way to be kind to someone, and pray for everyone.

If you have news to share, send it to me at 4954 W. Happy Holler Rd., Brazil. All news is greatly appreciated.
