Guy Albert Hughes, 88, passed away at his Brazil home at 1 p.m., Dec. 30, 2007.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, at 11 a.m., at Lawson-Miller Chapel with Pastor Rick Wetnight officiating. Burial will follow in Clearview Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, from 4-8 p.m., and prior to services on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to Carbon Baptist Church, where his son Howard is the minister or to the ALS Association of Indiana to help research the disease that took the life of his son, Joe.
