United Day for United Way is the final push of United Way's fundraising campaign and has been scheduled for Friday, Jan. 18.
Media partners throughout the Wabash Valley will assist the United Way in a one-day media blitz asking people of the Wabash Valley to contribute at one of the donation collection locations.
Television and radio media partners will also help by doing live remotes from the various collection sites throughout the area.
United Way has already received commitments from the following businesses to be involved in the United Day for United Way: First Financial Bank, Roly Poly, WTWO, Crossroads Communications, The Tribune-Star, Liberty Tax Service, JC Penny, Macy's Rally's, Applebee's (south), Buffalo Wild Wings, Time Warner Cable, WTHI Radio, Clabber Girl Bake Shop, Wabash Valley Journal of Business, Senior Living, Steak and Shake, ISU Federal Credit Union, Old National Bank, Lamar, Terre Haute Savings Bank, Wal-Mart, Midwest Communications and Fifth Third Bank.
United Day for United Way 2007 managed to bring in more than $10,000 for the area.
