Linda Lou Came, 70, Center Point, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2008, at her residence.

She was born Aug. 21, 1937, in Terre Haute, as the daughter of William Harold and Dorothy Alberta Cohn Cravens.

She was a graduate of Wiley High School in Terre Haute and had attended Indiana Business College in Terre Haute.

She had been employed for several years at the Terre Haute Bowling Center. She was a member of the Bowling Green Eastern Star No. 261 and Daughters of the Nile of Terre Haute.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Richard Cravens.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Came; one daughter, Katherine Sue Ellis and husband Timothy, Jacksonville, Fla.; two sons, David William Came, Indianapolis and Richard Alan Came, Center Point; five grandsons and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Richard Pippin officiating.

At the request of the deceased, her body will be cremated following the services.

Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Shriners Hospitals for Crippled Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa Fla., 33607-1460.
