The Clay Community School Corporation school board will hold its first monthly meeting of 2008 Thursday, Jan. 10, 7:30 p.m., at North Clay Middle School.
New business on the agenda includes, amongst many housekeeping items, a report on the ISTEP+ test results from fall 2007.
Schools and administrators have had time to breakdown results, and will be able to present the board with specific trends and areas for improvement.
Also on the agenda is discussion about posting and interviewing for an Assistant Superintendent for the corporation.
Reinstatement of this position has been discussed at several of the past board meetings, and Superintendent Dan Schroeder was given the task to create a job description for the opening.
The board will also hear a report on the progress of the Goals, Strategies and Activities list made by the corporation in 2007.
