Wayne and Julie Burns will be having an open house to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Jan. 19, from 2-4 p.m. at the Cloverdale Church of Christ's Fellowship Building, 205 Brown Ave., Cloverdale.

Wayne is an IBM retiree and currently works for the Indiana State Highway Department.

Julie, formerly of Julie's Poodle Parlor and Julie's Fairway Restaurant, currently works as a home health aid for the elderly.

Wayne and Julie are members of the Cloverdale Church of Christ. They still reside at Bloomington St., Greencastle in the same house they were married.

They are the parents of the late Alan Burns and the late Terry Burns, Lori Smith and Aaron Burns and the grandparents to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

All family and friends are invited to attend. Cards are welcome, gifts should be omitted.
