Marsha Dowell's seven-day old daughter, Sarah Jolene, is the county's newest citizen.
"Our family is thrilled," Marsha said of the birth of her fourth child with husband Travis. "She is so quiet, you can't hardly hear her cry, and she's so funny. She already holds her head up and giggles."
Married for more than seven years, Marsha said the couple's children -- Samantha, 6, and two sons, Christian, 5, and Justin, 3 -- are very excited about having a new baby sister.
"It has been so nice, the kids have been a big help," she said, adding she's not sure if there will be any more future additions to the family. "(Sarah) will probably be our last child."
With deep blue eyes and a slight red tint to her hair, Marsha isn't exactly sure, but she thinks Sarah will look like her father as she gets older.
Weighing five pounds, six and three-quarter ounces and measuring a little more than 18 inches long, Marsha said Dr. Melissa Hatcher delivered Sarah shortly before 7:30 p.m. at Putnam County Hospital.
"She was born two weeks early," Marsha said about having labor induced. "I have very quick labor, and this time we wanted to be sure that we were ready for her arrival."
Travis is employed at PDF Inc. and Marsha has to return to work at Wal-Mart sometime in March, but she plans on enjoying each day until then with her children.
