Mary J. Fisher, 83, Brazil, died at 9:55 a.m., Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, at Holly Hill Healthcare, Brazil.

She was born July 12, 1924, in Clay County, the daughter of Edward and Anna Cooper Nevins.

She married Charles "Bill" Fisher who has preceded her in death. She was employed for many years as a press operator at Adamson Fabric Care, Brazil. She was a member of the Way of the Cross Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill, four brothers, Joe, Russell, Bill and Earl Nevins, three sisters, Nellie Pope, Blanche Croy and Violet Rose and infant twin siblings, Frederick and Edna Nevins.

She is survived by one son, William "Bill" Fisher and his wife Mary, one granddaughter, Samantha "Sami" Fisher, one grandson, William "Stoney" Fisher and his fiancée, Brandy Hooker, all of Brazil and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at Moore Funeral Home and 10-11 a.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 15, with Pastor Jimmy Dowers officiating. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery. Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Way of the Cross Church, 3010 E. U.S. 40, Brazil, Ind., 47934.
