Barbara Ann Harrison Lane, 77 of Brazil, passed away, at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008, in the Morgantown Nursing Home.
She was born June 27, 1930, in Tipton, to Robert and Carolyn Webster Harrison.
She was a member of the World Gospel Church, the Terre Haute FOP and loved playing bingo and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel K. Lane, her father, Robert Harrison, her mother, Carolyn Harrison Brown, step-father, Herschel Brown, two sons, Samuel K. Lane Jr. and Harry Lane and three sets of infant boy twins, two brothers, Robert Harrison and David Brown and two sisters, Virginia Harrison and Betty Phillips.
Survivors include a son, Mark Lane, Terre Haute, three daughters, Teresa Conder and husband Curtis, Brazil, Marsha Buchanon, West Terre Haute and Laura Goldsbrough, West Terre Haute, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
Services will be at noon, Saturday, Jan. 17, 2008 (today), in the French Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Coker officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until services. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
