Greencastle's full court pressure was more than Northview's freshmen could handle in the fourth quarter and overtime of a 33-29 decision on Monday.
The Tiger Cubs forced 11 turnovers over in the final two quarters as Greencastle reeled in the Knights.
Greencastle sent the game into overtime on two free throws with 30 seconds left from Keegan Remsburg.
In the extra session, Tyler Lewis and Joe Lenihan each hit two free throws and Greencastle held the Knights to just a single basket by Hunter Robertson.
Northview led by six points two different times in the second half, once in the third quarter and early in the fourth period, but the Knights were unable to hold onto the ball when Greencastle applied the heat. Lewis knocked down a 3-pointer in the third quarter and J.T. Hennette rebounded another long-range miss to get Greencastle within 23-19 heading into the fourth quarter.
Sean Hauser scored two of his game-high 17 points to extend the lead briefly for the Knights, but Lewis scored off a steal by Kyle Parker and then Parker scored off another Northview turnover. Hauser scored again, this time off a full court drive, but Keegan Remsburg scored off a lay-in following another steal by the Tiger Cubs.
With just 30 seconds remaining, Remsburg was fouled and hit two free throws to send the game into overtime.
Greencastle overcame just 11-of-40 shooting from the field by hitting nine more free throws than Northview.
The Knights will host South Vermillion on Thursday for a boy/girl doubleheader at 6 p.m.
