It was a red ribbon day for Caribbean Works Tanning and Hair Salon, 217 West National Avenue, Brazil. Celebrating the business' official opening were Mayor Ann Bradshaw, employee Tylee Graverson, Tanning Salon Manager Mary Lake, stylist Toyna Kunkler, Hair Salon Manager Brittney Greenwood, owner Joe Condry and, representing the Clay County Chamber of Commerce, Ted Paris. Open Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m.--9 p.m. and Sundays from noon--6 p.m., the salon presently offers tanning, hair styling and facial waxing services, with nail services available soon. Condry invited residents to attend a public celebration Feb. 8-9 at the salon. Ivy Jackson Photo.

Its a very clean and relaxing entity, the staff is very polite and seem to enjoy their job. The prices are reasonable, the salon as well as the tanning rooms are well kept, and the shop is well stocked with new products of which Joe is very good about explaining which lotion to use for each person. The location is right on Hi-Way 40 so its easy to get to. Highly recommendable if you want to get rid of the "winter blues" and treat yourself to some "R&R" with a touch of class!
