The Clay Community School Corporation School Board will decide the fate of the renovation project Monday.
The meeting will take place at North Clay Middle School at 6 p.m., in the media center.
The board has heard several proposals, and has had two community-input sessions and two work sessions trying to find the best solution for the aging buildings.
On the agenda is a vote to decide which proposal to proceed with, and another vote to grant permission to hold a 1028/Preliminary Determination Meeting.
The 1028/Preliminary Determination Meeting is required for any school corporation construction projects larger than $1 million.
The final proposal for the project will be presented at the meeting.
All interested parties may speak or ask questions at the 1028 hearing, as the meeting is intended to inform the public and give the public a chance to voice their opinions on the project.
If a 1028/Preliminary Determination Meeting is approved, it will be held on Monday, Feb. 18, at 6 p.m., at North Clay.
The school board will hold their regular monthly meeting Thursday, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m.
