Purdue University

About 8,600 Purdue University students earned academic honors for the fall 2007 semester. To earn honors, students must have had at least a 3.5 semeser or cumulative grade point average on a four-point scale.

Purdue University awarded 2,758 degrees to students during commencement ceremonies in December.

Of the degrees presented 1,980 were to undergraduates, 766 were to graduate students and 12 were to professional students. The commencement ceremonies were conducted in the Elliott Hall of Music on the West Lafayette campus.

Degrees awarded were:

Steven Ross Schopmeyer, Bachelor of Science from the School of Building Construction Management Technology.

Greg Richard Long, Bacherlor of Science in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from the School of Agricultural and Biological Engineering.
