The Clay Community School Corporation monthly school board meeting will take place Thursday, Feb. 7, at 7:30 p.m., North Clay Middle School.
The board will take care of several business issues including book bids for the libraries, outstanding checks more than two years old and the annual financial report.
Kathy Knust, Curriculum Director for the corporation, will ask for permission from the board to apply for two grants to assist the corporation, and the technology committee will be asking permission to bid for computers.
February's principal's report will be presented by Karen Phillips from Meridian Elementary School.
Corporation Business Manager Mike Fowler will address an issue with the newly instituted Health Savings Account for non-certified employees.
The board will also hear an energy usage and savings report, along with voting on an expulsion appeal finding for an unnamed student.
The meeting is open to the public.
