Indiana State Police, Posey Township Fire Department and Trans Care Ambulance responded to an accident at 10:15 a.m., Wednesday on County Road 800 N, just west of CR 150 W.

Officials believe weather conditions caused the single-vehicle accident.

Michael Broady, Brazil, was heading westbound on CR 800 N when he lost control of his vehicle on the icy road.

After briefly regaining control, the vehicle left the road on the left side and then flipped at least once, according to Indiana State Police Senior Trooper Chris Carter.

Broady and his daughter, who was in the passenger seat, were unhurt.

"Seatbelts saved both their lives," Carter said.

A concerned passerby stopped, and took Broady's daughter to school for him.

The Posey Township Fire Department was released from the scene around 11:15 a.m.

Details are limited due to the ongoing investigation.
