TERRE HAUTE -- Arts Illiana recently announced it will provide a second grant information workshop on Feb. 28 at 5:30 p.m. in the Deming Center Lobby.
The workshop will provide step-by-step instruction on the grant process and for completing the grant application.

Arts Organizations and Arts Providers in the Wabash Valley have the opportunity to apply for grant money available through the Indiana Arts Commission, the Indiana General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts.
Since 1998, Arts Illiana has administered more than $50,000 annually in IAC-funded grants to area organizations for arts-related projects. A letter of intent to apply for the grant is due in March and the application deadline is in May. There are three categories of grants, including:
* Arts Organization Support. Operating support for non-profit arts organizations and institutions,
* Arts Project Support. Funding support for arts projects of arts and non-arts non-profit organizations, including educational institutions, and
* Cultural Enhancement (Mini-Grants). Funding for small arts projects of arts and non-arts non-profit organizations, including educational institutions.

Important dates and information for the grant cycle are listed on www.artsilliana.org. March 14, 2008, is the deadline for letters of intent and May 9, 2008, is the grant application deadline.
