Colletta Treash, 80, Harmony, passed away at 4:40 p.m., Feb. 19, 2008, at Regional Hospital.
She was born April 30, 1927, in Coal Bluff, Ind., to Ray and Virgie (Kane) Brown.
She graduated from Brazil High School in 1945. On Aug. 11, 1945 she married Herbert W. Treash.
Colletta was a professional seamstress for many years with Old Glory Flag and Decorating Company, Leifheit's and J.C. Penney's and sewed for many people in her home up to the time of her death.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved attending the Treash family get-togethers.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Brown, mother, Virgie Kane Brown, husband, Herbert W. Treash, and two sons, Donald W. and John L. Treash.
She is survived by son, William Treash and wife, Teresa, Terre Haute, two grandsons, William J. Treash, Greensburg and Brent Treash, Abingdon, Va., and two great-grandchildren, Sara Treash and Anthony Treash, Greensburg, and several nieces, nephews and a large extended family.
Services will be at Lawson-Miller Chapel, Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at 11 a.m., with Lyle Monnett officiating. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery. Visitation will be at Lawson-Miller Chapel, Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, from 4-8 p.m.
