County prosperity and bringing jobs to the community are important reasons for Brian L. Wyndham to run for County Council at-Large.

Wyndham, 50, has been a Clay County resident all his life. He works for the County Redevelopment Commission, which he said ties in well with the county council.

The Democrat said his job has given him experience with county council and the community. He has worked with current, private businesses and new ones.

He works hard to get new businesses to open in Clay County. He said he has gained experience in budgets and taxes by working with businesses.

"I want to see our county progress," he said. "I want to get industries and new jobs to come here."

Wyndham wants to work with the community to help the county grow. He said getting new businesses, to bring jobs, is important to him.

"I want to see us prosper as much as possible," he said.

Wyndham is a member of the American Legion. He supports local events and organizations.

"We never turn down any organizations or events," he said. "Any organization, whether is it 4-H, or a function at Northview, we never turn them down. We try to participate in all when they come in."
