I would like to wish each and every one of you a very happy Easter. Enjoy the day, but don't forget the real meaning we are celebrating Easter.

Inspirational, knowledgeable, spiritual, funny, awesome. That's just a few of the words describing the Puppet Show and the Righteous Rods that were at Bee Ridge Church last Sunday. They were fantastic! The group consisted of all young folks ranging in age from 12-16 years old. They came from the First Baptist Church in Martinsville, Illinois. Sue Cunningham was the director. These youngsters showed so much emotion, especially the portrayal of Jesus at the Cross, that it made you feel like you were actually there. If you weren't there, you really missed something great! It kept the attention of all who attended. We had all ages there, from toddlers to senior citizens. You should have been there, too.

If you do not attend church or you are looking for a new church, this would be a good time to visit Bee Ridge Congregational Christian Church. Pastor Jeff's sermons are based on scriptures from the Bible. We are a God-loving congregation with a big heart and we are reaching out to you. You don't need to go and buy new clothes. You will feel right at home in casual clothes. Come and be a part of our family.

Sunday School for youth and adults begins at 9:30 a.m. followed by church services at 10:30 a.m.

Remember, EASTER Sunday will be different. We will NOT have Sunday School that day. At 6 a.m. there will be a Sunrise Service followed by breakfast downstairs. Church Service will be at 10 a.m. Everyone is welcome.

After Easter Sunday, we will go back to the regular times for Sunday School and Church Services. God bless you all.

What a beautiful Palm Sunday Friend Day we had. Praise the Lord. It was so good to see so many familiar and unfamiliar faces.

Special music was provided by the group Forgiven (Dava Boor, Jamie Pell and Tammi Emmert). Their music was so inspirational. Pastor's message was on the giant of pride, which we all struggle with. Are you a prideful person? Everything we have is from God. We must always give Him the credit, not ourselves.?

We want to keep Ruth Brown in our prayers. She has fallen, broken her hip and had surgery. Also, we want to keep our sister Dorothy Wright in our prayers. She will be moving to New Jersey soon.

We are a praying church, so if you need prayer, please be sure to let us know.

?This Sunday is Easter. We will have a sunrise service at 6 a.m. We would love to have you join us. Our Sunday School for all ages is at 9:30 a.m. and our worship service will be at 10:30 a.m.

If you are not attending anywhere else, please come be with us. We love the Lord. Our church is located behind Hardee's on Church St. Until next time, take time to pray.

Come and find the cross at The Door Christian Fellowship Church. There will be Resurrection Celebration Service for adults and teens on Sunday, at 11 a.m.

Afterwards, there will be a Cross Hunt, with prizes, snacks and treats for children up to age 12.

Evening services will be at 7 p.m.

The Door is located at 202 N. Washington St., in the old gym. For more information or transportation, call 442-8470.

We are looking forward to a great day this Easter Sunday as we rejoice in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the grave. The Scriptures state that unless Jesus Christ had risen from the dead and conquered death, our faith would be in vain.

Join us for a Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. with a breakfast to follow. We will also be having an early Worship Service at 9 a.m. instead of our regular service time.

Our teens and their friends had a great time at their youth SNAC last Sunday night as they played a variety of games at the Jackson Township Elementary gym. It's exciting to see them having a good time together but it brings a greater joy to watch them grow in their faith and living for Christ. The challenge to the teens came from the life of Jonah. A couple of the lessons from his life were: intentional disobedience has consequences, God is gracious and forgiving, and when we do wrong it is putting the thoughts and intents of our heart on display.

We have been learning some new choruses this month that tie in with the congregational memory verses which are Philippians 4:6-9. One of the choruses is verse 8 put to music. The other choruses remind us to pray rather than worry and to cast all of our burdens and cares upon the Lord since He cares for us.

God does truly care. The most obvious way that we know that He cares, in fact loves us, is through sending His one and only Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross as the payment for sin. The Bible says that we are born in sin and enemies of God deserving an eternal death. But by repenting of our sin, confessing it to Him and believing in Christ as our substitutionary sacrifice for sin we can be saved and have the assurance of eternal life in heaven forever because Jesus conquered death and is alive forever more.

That's the message of Easter. That is the message God has called us to share with others. The answers are in the Bible, the Book of Truth.

We would love to show you. To find out more give us a call at 442-5008 or e-mail at pastor@brazil-bible.org or visit us on Sunday.

Celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ tomorrow during our Sunday Easter Worship services at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Pastor Tony will share a message called "Seeing is Believing." Several eye witnesses of the resurrection have their testimony recorded in written documents. who were they and just exactly what did they see? We are currently preparing for our next small group campaign. We will read and discuss "Fruitful Congregations" and try to apply five basic principles to our lives so that we might become the kind of people God wants us to be. Small groups will meet on Sunday evening starting April 6. For more information go to our website at Brazilfirstumc.org.
