New Minister at Community Missionary Church

Derron Connor has accepted the invitation to Pastor at the Community Missionary Church of Brazil, In., 21 W. Pinckley St., Brazil.

Pastor Connor has been a Christian for more than 30 years and has served as fill-in pastor while area Ministers have been ill and/or on vacation.

He continues to work as a licensed therapist for the Hamilton Center in Rockville, where he resides with his family.

Married to Andie for more than nine years, they have three children; Sarah 7, Shepherd 4, and Christian at 2.

Pastor Connor and his wife have worked primarily with teens and children since their marriage, having moved from Maryland where Darron served as a therapist case manager for children.

Pastor Connor prior to their marriage earned a Bachelor's Degree in applied mathematics in 1991 at North Carolina Sate University and completed two Master's Degrees, One from Georgia Sate University in Community Counseling.

He received another from Psychological Studies Institute in Christian Psychological Studies.

Born in Louisville, KY. and grew up in Morganton, N.C., he loves hiking, and sports and spending time with his children.

He also loves to read and work in stained glass.

On behalf of the Community Missionary Church he would like to invite all teens and children of any age to Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and morning worship at 10:30 a.m.

Andie, his wife, is also an accomplished singer, song leader, and Sunday School teacher.

The Community Missionary Church is Undenominational.
