Colton David Jones, 5, passed away at his home March 24, 2008, following a valiant 3-year battle with cancer.

He was born Nov. 20, 2002, to Jason and Andrea (Kellum) Jones.

Colton was a typical boy who enjoyed playing outside, playing with trucks and toys and getting dirty. He attended Open Hands Preschool and the First United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather David Kellum and aunt Nancy White.

Survivors include his parents Andrea and Jason Jones, brothers Gavin and Devin Jones, grandparents Susan Kellum, David and Sue Jones, two great-grandmothers, Lucille Loy and Elizabeth Morlan, aunts Amanda Hulse and Sarah Jones as well as many cousins and extended family members.

Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, at Lawson Miller Chapel, with Pastor Tony Alstott officiating. Burial will follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m., Thursday.
