Jennifer Kaelber helps families make difficult decisions every day in her work, and is ready to use her skills as a member of the Clay Community Schools Board of Trustees.

Kaelber is a nurse at Holly Hills Health Care Facility, and works primarily in admissions and special services.

She feels her skills in assisting others will be an asset to the board.

Kaelber has lived in Clay County for nearly her whole life, and is a 1993 graduate from Northview High School. She received her degree in nursing from Ivy Tech.

A mom of four, three of Kaelber's kids are in the school corporation.

"I have children in the corporation, and there are projects the school board has got going that I'd like to see through," Kaelber explained as a reason for running for the seat.

Outside of work and home, she facilitates a support group for victims of Alzheimer's disease and sits on the advisory committee for the Alzheimer Association.

Kaelber is running for the District 2 seat on the board, against Leo Southworth and Holly Neil.
