Born Feb. 27, 1916, in Clay County, she was the daughter of Earl Jeffers and Ethel Romas Jeffers.
She was a retired teacher, having taught for 27 years at Cory, Bowling Green and Van Buren Elementary Schools.
She married Ernest Weddle Sr. He preceded her in death in 1980.
Survivors include stepsons Ernest Weddle Jr., Vernie L. Weddle and wife Pauline, and Charles E. Weddle, stepdaughter Anna Mae Weddle, and nieces and nephews Doris McCallister, June Jeffers, Joy Power, Darrell Bratt, Ben Roomas, Betty Betterilli and Berla Uber.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and nephew Gary Weddle.
Services will take place at 5 p.m., Wednesday, at Mattox-Fox Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1543 Terre Haute, with Rev. Owen Youngblood officiating.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Riley.
Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
