John and Charlotte Detzel, 1644 Hulman Waye Ct., Terre Haute, will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on April 23, 2008, with a private dinner, at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Janet Detzel, Woodridge Addition, Terre Haute.

The Detzel's were married on April 23, 1948 by the Rev. Wilson Singer at the First United Methodist Church in Brazil.

Mr. Detzel is a retiree from the former Public Service Co. of Indiana. He was the superintendent and manager of PSI in Brazil for more than 30 years.

Mrs. Detzel, the former Charlotte Stoner, of Carbon, was office manager for Timberland for 30 years.

The Detzel's resided in Brazil for more than 75 years.
