Red Cross golf tourney slated

The Fourth Annual Golf Classic to benefit the American Red Cross Wabash Valley Chapter will be held Friday, April 25, 2008 at Forest Park Golf Course in Brazil, Indiana.

Proceeds from the Classic will be used to help the local Wabash Valley Chapter provide round the clock caring relief to local families who lose their homes to fire, keep local military families connected when they are separated by deployment around the world, and empower area youth and adults with the skills and information they need to know to be prepared to respond to disasters, accidents and sudden illness. The Wabash Valley Chapter serves the citizens of Clay, Greene, Parke, Putnam, Sullivan, Vermillion and Vigo Counties in Indiana and Edgar County in Illinois.

Registration forms are available at Time Warner Cable, the Forest Park Golf Course and the American Red Cross Wabash Valley Chapter. Registration includes 18 holes of golf, lunch, golf shirt, sleeve of golf balls and other goodie bag prizes. Individual registration is $75 and a foursome is $300.

GOLD sponsorships include hole sponsorship, foursome entry plus lunch and advertising at the event and recognition in the Chapter's Annual Report. GOLD sponsorships are $550. HOLE sponsorships are $100.

Sponsors are Time Warner Cable, Riddell National Bank and York Chevrolet.

Knock in a hole and one at one of the three designate holes and win a two-year car lease, a vacation or a set of golf clubs provided courtesy of York Chevrolet.
