Northview 'C' baseball team drills Danville

The Northview 'C' baseball team cruised to a comfortable 14-1 win in five innings against visiting Danville on Wednesday evening.

The Knights put the game away with an eight run second inning to improve to 3-0 on the young season.

JT Jeffries went the distance for Northview, throwing all five innings, striking out seven Warriors. Jeffries allowed a single earned run while walking two and allowing only three hits.

Jordan King had two singles and plated two runs in the victory and Jeffries drove home two runs with a single. Blake Price added a double and a single with Seth Lunsford driving home two runs with a base hit.

Trent Stearley had two RBI with a hit and Taylor Hanson singled for the Knights.

Northview will play a doubleheader on Friday night against visiting Terre Haute South beginning at 5 p.m.
