TERRE?HAUTE -- The Wabash Valley Art Guild will presents its 31st Annual Spring Art Show, May 9-11, at the Honey Creek Mall in Terre Haute.
Every year the Wabash Valley Art Guild hosts an Annual Spring Art Show.
Since its founding in 1980, Florence and Norman Ratliff's purpose was and still it to this day to bring together those in the community interested in the creation and appreciation of art, and to encourage fellowship through discussion and the sharing of knowledge.
The Spring Art Show will be open to all area residents and judged by Chiz Henrichs.
Henrichs is a well-known accomplished commercial artist, judged numerous art shows, and is currently teaching.
A reception for the artist will take place at the same location from 6-9 p.m., Friday, May 9, with prizes being awarded in several categories.
The Guild welcomes all visual artists 18-and-older for the Spring Show.

While there, patrons may check out more information about the Guild, our Artists, or other hosted art like this years Annual Art in Deming Park and in the fall an exhibit at the Community Theater of Terre Haute.
Many of our artists exhibit and sell in the local galleries, other locations in the area, and even outside our area,
The Guild welcomes all artists 18-older who work with any visual art medium, which includes but is not limited to paintings (oil, pen and ink, pastels, charcoal, etc.), and 3-D works.
Artists do collage, engraving, work on glass, wood, metal, eggs, make miniatures, and use mixed media.
The Guild meets every second Thursday of each month at various locations throughout the Wabash Valley.
Meetings normally begin at 6:30 p.m.
