The beautiful Spring weather this week truly makes you appreciate how blessed we are here in central Indiana, where we get to experience so many different kinds of weather. If you can, get outside and enjoy it!

Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m., with worship service following at 10:30. Doug Parkey is the minister. Children's Church, Wee Worship and extended nursery are at 10:30 a.m. in the Educational Building. If you need transportation to morning worship service, please phone the church office at 446-3211. The bus is wheel chair equipped. Praise Band, Puppet Ministry and Sunday evening service all meet at 6 p.m.

The evening service will continue our Bible Study on John 3:16: "The Numbers of Hope." Small group studies will meet throughout the week.

If you wish to go to Golden Corral for lunch on Monday, please be at the church by 11 a.m. The date for the Ladies Dinner is May 18. Verna Davis is the guest speaker.

Happy Birthday greetings go out to J. D. Buell and to Doug Parkey. Happy anniversary to Jim and Karen Bowman. Our thanks to the Praise Choir for the special music last Sunday.

Not only does our church have a beautiful new roof, but now we have some new paint and landscaping as well. Our sincere thanks to Rick Shaw and Ronnie Moody for a job well done. We really appreciate your hard work.

Speaking of the new roof, we continue to need contributions to help pay for it. If you would like to donate, please contact Janet Young at 448-3210.

Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m. Church service begins at 10:30. David Brown is our Pastor and his wife Elaine brings the Children's Message. Glenna Simons is the pianist.

Happy belated birthday to my wonderful grandson Daniel Mitchell, who celebrated on April 14. Also, belated birthday wishes go out to Lisa Pine (April 15), and Leslie Schane (April 18). I hope you all had great birthdays.

Remember that the Community Food Pantry is open in the church's basement the last two Wednesday afternoons of each month from 3-5 p.m. The next Food Pantry day will be Wednesday. Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome. We truly appreciate the support of many churches, civic organizations, and individuals in helping to make this needed outreach a success. A container is located in the Staunton Town Office for anyone who would like to contribute non-perishable food items.

Please remember to keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families. Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones. Go out of your way to be kind to someone, and pray for everyone.

If you have news to share, send it to me at 4954 W. Happy Holler Rd., Brazil. All news is greatly appreciated.
