She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
She was a retired dairy farmer and a member of Fort Hill Church of Christ and Community Club No. 31.
She was born Dec. 26, 1918, in Terre Haute, to James F. and Elizabeth Kylander Harris.
She grew up in the Clay County area and was a 1937 graduate of Staunton High School.
Her husband, Ernie Marshall, preceded her in death on Oct. 7, 1996.
Also preceding her in death were daughter Margie K. Horner in 1990, three brothers and sisters-in-law, Dick Harris and wife Marie, Joe Harris and wife Esther, and Jim Harris and wife May, five sisters and their husbands, Edith Harris Kalb and Pappy, Desta Harris Weidenmiller and Stewart, Hortense Harris Frazier and Earl, Freda Harris Newkirk and Herman, and Rose Harris Raybould and Joseph.
Survivors include grandson Chad Horner, Clarksville, granddaughter Jodi Leonard, Clarksville, and six great-grandchildren.
Margaret and Ernie always enjoyed many of their nieces and nephews, spending the summer months down at their farm.
Visitation was from 4-8 p.m., April 3, and services took place April 4, 2008, at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial took place at Crown Hill Cemetery.
