WEST LAFAYETTE -- Sophomore guard Keaton Grant is Purdue's most valuable basketball player for 2007-08.
The 6-foot-4 Grant, who averaged 10.7 points a game last season, helped the Boilermakers to a 25-9 record last season and was voted MVP by his teammates. That and other team awards were handed out at a postseason party Wednesday night.
For the second-straight year, sophomore guard Chris Kramer took home the Ray Eddy "Mr. Hustle" Award. Kramer also received a trophy for his selection as Big Ten defensive player of the year.
