The Northview golf team improved to 6-1 this season in dual matches by defeating visiting Terre Haute North, 148 to 163.

"We're playing better," commented coach Scott Buell. "Hopefully we have things going in the right direction and we can carry that into the last part of the season."

The Knights were paced by Kade Baker's even-par score of 35 and was followed closely by teammates Matt Williams and Jordan Gaskill who each shot 37.

Daniel Eaglin carded a 39, Drew Snyder shot a 40 and Byron Felchlia had a 42.

The Knights also won the JV match led by Josh Hoskins' 39 on the way to a 164 to 175 victory.

Ryan Turner had a 41 and both Jacob Musgrave and Brad Smith shot a 42. Jarrod Short had a 43 and Dylan Moore added a 43 as well.

Next up for the Knights is another crack at the only team to beat them in a dual meet, Terre Haute South. The three-way meet including Linton is on Monday at Rea Park.
