Polls don't always tell an accurate story.
But if the latest Brazil Times' online poll is any indicator, few people attended The 2008 Clay County Political Forum.
In its recent online poll, The Times asked its online readers, "Did the Clay County Political Forum help you with your voting decision?"
Readers were given three options to vote for, including:
* Yes it did. I know whom I'm voting for,
* No. I still have questions that need answers, or
* I did not attend the forum.
Of the 154 respondents to the poll, 68.2 percent (105 voters) said they did not attend the forum.
A total of 28 respondents (18.2 percent) said their decision was made after attending the forum while 21 readers (13.6 percent) admitted they still had questions that needed answered.
In addition, five readers also commented on the poll question.
One reader stated, "I already know whom I am voting for," while another reader said, "I did not attend, but heard some of the "replay" through the posted mp3 file and heard their stances. Thanks for the recording!"
Still, another reader said, "Each candidate should either be asked how they feel about issues or write their own opinions plus how they would handle complaints from taxpayers. I want to be sure all have a voice."
In a new online poll, The Times is asking its readers, "Should the 2008 Democratic presidential candidates engage in another debate?"
Readers are given two options, including:
* Yes they should, or
* No. Enough is enough.
As always, readers have the option of posting comments when voting.
