No shortage of offense in split of 'C' games

The Northview 'C' baseball team split a pair of games over the weekend, falling 11-10 to Terre Haute South on Thursday evening and taking a 17-2 blowout over Danville.

Against the Braves, Taylor Hanson was roughed up on the mound, allowing 11 runs on 15 hits while walking seven and striking out six for the Knights.

South came back to win the game, tallying two runs with two outs to score the victory.

Blake Price, Curtis Grove, Devin Harvey and Seth Lunsford each had two hits for Northview.

Lunsford had two RBI, Hardy added three and Tyler Trout drove home two runs with his lone hit. Price had a double in the loss.

In the blowout win over the Warriors, Carson Kleiber pitched four innings, striking out nine and allowing just three hits and walking one. Price pitched the final inning, striking out two of the three batters he faced.

Trout had a big game at the plate with three hits, including a double and drove home a run. JT Jeffries also starred on offense, knocking home four RBI with two doubles for the Knights.

Price had two hits and an RBI, Lunsford added two hits with an RBI, Kleiber drove home three runs with two hits and Grove doubled home a run. Austin Sciotto also had an RBI with a double in the victory.

The Knights (7-1) travel to West Vigo tonight for a 'B' and 'C' game.
