A Salute to our soldiers!

Monday, April 28, 2008

While honoring our past and present servicemen and women, local residents can help erect a monument to recognize one of Brazil's military heroes -- Charles B. Hall.

To participate in "A Salute To Our Soldiers," people will need to supply The Brazil Times with the following information:

* A clear photo of serviceman or woman,

* Name and hometown,

* Branch of military and when served, and

* Any types of recognition from military service.

A $3 donation will be collected at the time the information is dropped off. The Brazil Times will begin publishing the profiles the day after Memorial Day, May 27, 2008. Final day to drop off information will be Nov. 1. All proceeds will be used to support the "Charles B. Hall Memorial Foundation."

For more information, contact Times General Manager Lynne Llewellyn during normal business hours at 446-2216.

A Salute to our Soldiers but don't forget to donate $3.00. now that is honoring our troops. I think not!
