Resident thanks all those who helped

To the Editor:

On Aug. 8-10, I will be walking 60 miles in three days to help fight breast cancer, with a few other women called the Bra-zil Billies from Clay County.

I would like to thank everyone who has helped in my fundraising efforts so far, Amy Jolley, the Prices (Aunt Bert?), Plumbers and Steamfitter Local 157, Clay Community, Clickers 4 a Cause, Dr. Charlie Lattuada, Sandy Brattain (I will be walking in Sandy's honor as well as her friend Linda Headley), Bill Tattersall (I will be walking in his mother's honor Julia Tattersall), Reanda Kirchner, Grant and Iona Flagan, Marlene Easten, the Kirkmans, Connie Robison, Dan and Cindy Pfleging and Kristy Tyler.

I would also like to invite the community to take part in our training walks. We have two groups going. One meets at Forest Park every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6 p.m., and the other meets at Harmony Park, Monday-Friday, at 7 p.m. The cost is only $1 per person and that entire dollar will be put toward fighting breast cancer one step at a time!

If anyone has any questions, feel free to call Amy Reynolds at 448-8843.

Amy Reynolds,

Brazil
