CLAY CITY -- Emily Reed drove home the game-tying RBI in the bottom half of the seventh inning and Tasha Collenbaugh came home with the winning run on a wildpitch as Clay City defeated Terre Haute South, 4-3.
Collenbaugh also got the victory on the mound when she came in to relieve Shelby Targett due to illness in the second inning and finished the contest.
The pitcher also had two singles and scored a pair of runs and both Angie Camp and Reed each had a hit and an RBI for the victorious Eels.
Kayla Baumgartner had a single, scored a run and stole a base and Mardi Steiner scored the tying run.
Clay City (11-4) travels to Eminence on Thursday.

Baseball
Clay City's baseball team claimed an 11-1, six inning victory over Riverton Parke on Monday evening.
Ryne Hayes tossed a one-hitter for the Eels and struck out 11 Panthers to get the win.
Matt Vansickle had a 2-for-3 day at the plate with a double and a home run and Ben Dickey went 3-for-4 with a double and drove home a run. Kyler Rhodes was 2-for-3 with three RBI and D.J. Newton had a pair of hits with an RBI.
