Mr. and Mrs. Frank Phillips, Brazil, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Sue, to Edward Clinton Kinzel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Kinzel, Columbus, Ohio.

Amanda is a 2001 graduate of Southmont High School, a 2005 graduate of Franklin College and is a graduate student at Purdue University.

Ed is a 1999 graduate of William V. Fisher Catholic High School in Lancaster, Ohio, a 2003 graduate of Purdue University and is a graduate student at Purdue University.

An August wedding is planned.
