Happy Birthday greetings to Billy Archer, and congratulations to Billy and Pat Archer on their recent wedding.

What a special treat we enjoyed last Sunday as the Praise Band and Puppet Ministry brought us a combined presentation during the morning worship service! We are proud of our talented young folks and their leaders. We also want to thank Nic Elliott for taking over the pulpit duties last Sunday in Doug's absence and delivering a very timely and much appreciated message.

We continue to need contributions to help pay for our church's new roof. If you would like to donate, please contact Janet Young at 448-3210.

Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m. Church service begins at 10:30 a.m. David Brown is our Pastor and his wife Elaine brings the Children's Message. Glenna Simons is the pianist.

Remember that the Community Food Pantry is open in the church's basement the last two Wednesday afternoons of each month from 3-5 p.m. The next Food Pantry day will be next Wednesday. Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome. We truly appreciate the support of many churches, civic organizations and individuals in helping to make this needed outreach a success. A container is located in the Staunton Town Office for anyone who would like to contribute non-perishable food items.

Please remember to keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families. Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones. Go out of your way to be kind to someone, and pray for everyone.

If you have news to share, send it to me at 4954 W. Happy Holler Rd., Brazil. All news is greatly appreciated.
