* Pet Shot Clinic

The Clay County Humane Shelter's Pet Vaccination Clinic is scheduled to take place today at the Forest Park Pavilion from 1-4 p.m.

Each shot costs $8.

Dog owners will be able to have their pets vaccinated with the 5-in-1 shot for distemper, adenovirus type 2, corona virus, Para influenza and parvovirus. Individual shots for kennel cough, rabies and Lyme disease are also available for dogs.

Cats can be vaccinated with the 3-in-1 shot for distemper, calici and panleukopenia.

Micro chipping is also available for a cost of $25 per animal.

* Free Concert

The Carbon United Methodist Church is sponsoring the free "Music For The Soul" Gospel Music Festival at the Carbon Fire Department's Pavilion today from 1-4 p.m.

People need to bring lawn chairs because of no seating available. The church will be selling cold drinks to earn money for the Clay County Emergency Food Pantry.

* Open House

Members of the Clay County Search and Rescue invite the public to join them for free hotdogs during their open house today.

People can tour the facility at 525 E. National Ave., look over the new equipment and visit with personnel from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
