Staff Report

GREENCASTLE -- The Northview baseball team improved to 9-16 this season by dropping Greencastle 14-4 in five innings.

Craig Peters earned the pitching victory and struck out nine batters while adding a 2-for-3 night at the plate.

Nick Lancaster homered in the victory with two RBI and Zac Niehaus doubled to drive home three runs in the road win. Kyle Pestoff added two hits with an RBI and Matt Nodley also doubled, drivin in two runs. Ryne Barr singled with an RBI for Northview.

The Knights play host to Cloverdale this evening at 7 p.m.


Peters (W) and Robertson; Grzesiek (L), Ford (4), Mahoney (6), Remsburg (6) and Faust.
