The Clay County Community Foundation has scheduled its ninth golf outing for Saturday, June 21, at Forest Park Golf Course.
In the past years, more than $35,000 has been raised from the tournament and the funds go to assist the community foundation to provide grants and scholarships.
Entry fee to enter the tournament is $60 per person or $240 per team, which includes green and cart fees, lunch, beverages and golfer's package. Individual Forest Park season ticket holders will receive $10 off the entry fee.
The first-place team will receive a $400 gift certificate while second-place will earn $300.
The third-place team will earn a $200 gift certificate.
Registration for the event will begin at noon and a shotgun start has been scheduled for 1 p.m.
Those interested in playing in the tournament are asked to respond to the foundation, PO Box 272, Brazil, 47834, by June 13.
Sponsors include the Providence Medical Group, Terre Haute Savings Bank and House of Spirits.
The community foundation's mission is to enrich the quality of life in Clay County by receiving and investing contributions to build a permanent endowment for the charitable needs of the community.
It provides a way for donors who have a variety of charitable goals. The foundation also assists community leaders in identifying important needs by addressing problems and shaping responses and solutions.
