Breaking News: Accident backs up traffic on State Road 59

An accident involving a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle has traffic backed up along State Road 59.

The accident occurred on SR 59 in front of the Brazil Armory, near Whiterock Road, at about 3:25 p.m., today.

AirEvac has been dispatched to the scene.

Officials said traffic will be rerouted starting approximately one mile north and south of the accident while members of the Indiana State Police create an accident reconstruction.
