The Clay County Sheriff's Posse has scheduled its first open horse show for today.
The event will take place at the Parke County 4-H Fairgrounds.
There are 66 classes with 10 being 70 percent payback open classes, added money.
B102.7-FM will conduct a live-remote during the evening.
Another open show, sponsored by the Parke County 4-H H&P Club for those interested, has also been scheduled for Sunday.
Food will be available at the concession stand by the 4-H Horse and Pony Club, and the Parke County Junior Leaders will also host a fish fry in the evening. Stalls will be available.
The Clay County Sheriff's Posse is a volunteer organization. Its mission is to establish an organization composed of people, who are qualified equestrians, have ATV's, and/or can provide necessary leg work, located in the cities, towns and villages contingent to Clay County.
The organization assists the county sheriff on major or minor disasters or searches.
