The Brazil Public Library will launch a community project for the school children of Clay County.
Project School Supply is designed to help supply needy Clay County children with new school supplies for the upcoming school year.
The public is encouraged to donate new, basic school supplies to the library to be distributed equally among the elementary schools in the county.
The supplies will be delivered to the schools before the start of the new school year and will be dispersed at the discretion of the principal and teachers.
The library began taking donations June 1 and will continue to do so until July 31.
All are invited to participate and help children begin the new school year equipped.
