Josephine Elizabeth Thompson

Josephine Elizabeth Thompson, 92, Staunton, died at 11:15 p.m., Friday, June 27, 2008, at Holly Hill Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Feb. 28, 1916, in Terre Haute, the daughter of the late Henry and the late Elzada (Rogers) Nelson.

She was a homemaker and attended Staunton First Christian Church.

She was married to Emmons A. Thompson, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one son, Allen Thompson.

She is survived by her son, Mack A. Thompson and his wife Deborah, New Albany, Ohio.

Mrs. Thompson will be cremated. Her arrangements were entrusted to Moore Funeral Home.
