The Brazil Concert Band, under the direction of Matthew S. Huber, will continue its Sesquicentennial Celebration at Forest Park Sunday at 8 p.m.
This week, the BCB will perform a variety of music scheduled for its performances in Wisconsin Dells July 10-11.
Show tunes from "Chicago" will include, "All That Jazz," "Roxie," and "We Both Reached For The Gun."
Selections from "Guys and Dolls" feature "Luck Be A Lady Tonight," "Don't Rock The Boat," and "If I Were A Bell."
Karl L. King's band classic, "The Princess Of India," is slated along with two Henry Fillmore marches, "His Honor," and "Gifted Leadership."
The BCB will perform Fred Jewell's "Imperial Council," and a host of John Philip Sousa favorites in a medley titled, "Marching Along," by Col. John R. Bourgeois.
The waltz potpourri "Post Stimmung!" will recognize the large German population of Wisconsin, and "On Wisconsin," will connect the former Brazil Red Devils and Wisconsin sports fans.
