BREAKING NEWS: Officials looking for suspect involved in a foiled burglary attempt

Wednesday, July 2, 2008

Officials are asking the public for any information concerning a foiled burglary attempt at a Brazil residence in the 900 block area of North McGuire Street early Wednesday morning.

A homeowner found an unknown individual, approximately 6-feet tall and dressed in dark clothing, wandering around inside their home at 2 a.m.

Officials confirmed that after chasing the suspect out of the home, the homeowner fired a gun into the air to scare the suspect away, but no one was injured.

The Brazil City Police Department and the Clay County Sheriff's Department blocked the area off for close to an hour while a K-9 unit searched for the suspect and officers investigated the case.

To report any information about this case, or any other, contact the Brazil City Police Department at 446-2211.

Could you be more VAGUE? "Unknown individual (male/female?), approx 6' tall (quite of few of those in town!), dressed in dark clothing (ummm .. Johnny Cash? No, he's dead.), wandering around (most of the kids in town)".

If Bobo the Wonder Dog can't find him .. then chances are .. I won't either.
